The world seems to have turned upside down, and the need to slow down, disconnect, and root ourselves in nature is more important than ever before.
We invite you to unplug in the forest with us for a weekend of profound tranquility and revitalization this September. Each moment of our schedule has been lovingly and thoughtfully curated to unwind your nervous system, inspire creativity and mindset shifts, and reinvigorate your daily lifestyle with intention and consciousness as you navigate the world we live in today.
We will be guiding you through a series of activities including early morning meditation, traditional pranayama, sound healing, writing, sacred rituals and ceremonies. We will also hike the lush, hilly landscape and literally dig down into the Earth and leave it better than when we arrive.
You’ll eat abundant, delicious, plant-based meals to nourish your body and soul through intentional eating practices and reflection, and you’ll sleep and wake to the serene sounds of the forest, miles away from any man-made noises.
This is our first retreat co-hosting as a team, and we could not be more thrilled to guide you through this experience!
Community is an integral part of being human. Sacred circle will be the cornerstone of this retreat, as we gather with one another for personal growth and reflection.
Hiking through the forest, guided meditation, sound healing, breath work, nature-based art and writing workshops will be interwoven throughout the weekend.
Campers will set up their own tents, nestled among the tall evergreens. All our meals will be lovingly prepared using the freshest ingredients, many of which come straight from Jaime’s garden.
Located in southeastern Wisconsin, Neshkoro is a small town of under 500 residents. The retreat is located on 6 private acres of tree-covered land outside of town. The property was owned by the same family for over 120 years before Jaime and her husband purchased the property last year. The landscape has been tenderly cared for by multiple generations, and the stewardship of the land is evident to every individual who sets foot there.
Ally is the founder of 815Yoga. Her mission is to inspire a wave of self-care so fierce, the whole world heals. With a background in Classical Hatha Yoga, Yoga Philosophy, Vinyasa and Power Yoga, Usui Reiki, and Esoteric Astrology, she is equipped with healing tools and resources to nurture your body, mind, and spirit.
Ally's travels and time spent living off-grid in the rainforests of Costa Rica, Thailand, Bali launched her into a slow-paced, minimalist lifestyle centered around a state of innate wellbeing through whole plant foods, sunshine, mindful living, and genuine community.
Jaime is a high school English teacher, turned homeschooling mom and urban homesteader. Jaime joined the 815Yoga Collective in January 2022 after leading nature-based art and homesteading workshops from her backyard for two years. She also curates an Etsy shop where she sells goods made-from and inspired-by her urban homestead located in the heart of Rockford, Illinois.
Jaime is driven to inform and guide people towards a more sustainable, local food system that is accessible to all, regardless of economic circumstance. Her goal is to spread her infectious love for nature, food and community.
This past weekend was without a doubt the most heart-warming and heart-healing experience for me thus far on this journey of life. The most fantastic thanks I can give goes to Ally who made this retreat possible. You shared your heart with us, and became a channel trough which the gifts of the universe could find us, and I could not be more grateful. My heart calls me to the Earth, and I cannot express enough gratitude for this experience.
