In nature, Winter is a time to hibernate. To turn inward. To rest. The quiet, cold season lends itself to sleep and stillness. ‘Tis the season to recharge our batteries. However, in our modern world, ‘tis the season of spirited holiday parties, frantic shopping, and big family gatherings. When we operate in opposition with nature, it’s no wonder we’re left feeling completely drained. Consciously or unconsciously, we know that we need to slow down. To be more intentional with our social commitments, our purchases, our conversations. And you don’t have to sacrifice family traditions and holiday parties to do it.
Join us for a weekend immersion of yoga philosophy, practices for going inward at a time when the world is calling you outward, and time in silence. We’ll give you tools for breaking free from the cycle of desire this holiday shopping season, and for approaching hard situations and conversations from the heart. Day 1 will be spent in circle, learning and discussing as a group. Day 2 will be spent in silence, integrating and embodying the teachings from Day 1.
Come on your own or with a friend or family member. It will be a beautiful experience to enjoy by yourself or to share with someone you love.
(Saturday Hatha Yoga + Sunday Yoga Church included)
